fresh orange juice for the bugs

When I thought of "fresh" it reminded me of the time I went to a butterfly farm and saw the little creatures sucking juice from freshly cut orange halves. There was also watermelon. I hadn't thought that they would drink juice, but the farmer said it was sweet and they like it.

Mmmm... that is perfect! I swear I saw the antennae move on the butterfly! :<) Makes sense that they would like the cut fruit, but how do they keep wasps and yellow jackets away?

It's great you had your camera to capture that!

I'm with the butterfly. I love me some oranges.
